Congratulations to Seniors Kaelin Nilges and Kinley Edgerton!
Congratulations to Xander Fuller, Kinley Edgerton, and Hanna Schmidt on representing Crest at the Kansas State Track & Field Meet! Xander placed 18th and Hanna finished 9th, both competing in long jump; Kinley placed 10th in javelin while also achieving a new personal record! Great job, Lancers!
Dear Lancers, I hope your summer break is off to a great start! Today, I’m writing with an update about the cell phone ban law passed by the Kansas Legislature in March. When this law takes effect in July, it will prohibit students from having or using their cell phones and other personal communication devices during the school day, including during lunch. We understand that this will be a big change for many people. That’s why our district is already working hard to plan for the smoothest transition possible for staff and students. Our Board of Education will be approving a new policy to support this mandate. We’ve set up a Frequently Asked Questions page on our website with some basic information about the new law and how it will be implemented at Crest.
